Design learning environments

How you design your learning environments will affect your students' learning regardless of whether you have planned learning activities in a physical or digital environment. Plan for hybrid teaching

Hybrid teaching means that students can take part in their education both through learning activities that are given digitally at a distance and physically on Campus, asynchronously on different occasions or synchronously with students both online and on Campus at the same time.

Interactive teaching in Active Learning Classrooms (ALC)

The ALC model is based on research on active learning and interactive teaching. ALCs are often furnished with round tables for collaboration, with a whiteboard at each table. The classrooms are generally also equipped with digital technology that facilitates interactive teaching and blended learning.

Teach in a flipped classroom

Teaching in a flipped classroom means that the students before each lesson take part of the course content by, for example, reading texts or watching recorded lectures. The lesson time is mainly devoted to knowledge-deepening activities such as application exercises and discussions.
