If you are staying home from work because of illness, or to care for a sick child you should report this in Primula. If need be, also contact the department so your colleagues and students know you are home sick.

Vacation

Every calendar year is qualification for your holiday. Paid holiday is given for the period corresponding to your employment during the calendar year. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not counted as vacation days. Equal to public holidays are Midsummer's Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Travel

Stockholm University has an agreement with BCD Travel from November 3, 2014. The travel agency has been contracted in accordance with the Swedish Public Procurement Act. The agreement means that it obliges everyone at the university to buy their business travel with them. However, it is allowed to buy train tickets directly from SJ.
