Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).

Who is the workshop for

This workshop is aimed at you who is a professional educator looking for new ideas or teaching strategies using digital tools and ways to improve your skills, who have not participated in the ONL course in the past.

The workshop is designed to provide an overview of possibilities and instruments when designing online courses as well as a hands-on introduction to the course Open Networked Learning (ONL). All teaching staff is welcome regardless of you being able to commit to the ONL course or not.

 

About the workshop

Focus is on a hands-on briefing of how digital tools, open educational resources and online collaborative learning settings can be effectively utilized for teaching and learning.

During the three-hour session, we will cover four main themes.

  1. The digital literacies and online participation: The essential skills for navigating the digital world, digital residence and presence, communication and collaboration in the digital world.
  2. Use if open educational resources and OE practices
  3. Learning in personalized networks: Collaboration and communication possibilities in the digital world.
  4. Design for online and blended learning using the Community of inquiry framework.
