Welcome!
─ to a Teaching & Learning event on pedagogical perspectives on quality in doctoral education
Date: Tuesday 25 April 2023 kl 13─16
Place: Campus Albano, Hus 4, plan 2, Hörsal 7 (Flexsalen)
The quality of doctoral education has a major impact on doctoral students' learning and development into skilled and independent researchers. Between 2017 and 2022, The Swedish Higher Education Authority's (UKÄ) has evaluated roughly 150 doctoral programmes. During this seminar, you will discuss, reflect on and share experiences from having undergone UKÄ's quality review. With a starting point in higher education pedagogy and results from UKÄ’s reviews, we will discuss how doctoral education can be developed.
What characterizes a high-quality doctoral education? How can we work to improve doctoral education? What can we learn from UKÄ's quality reviews from a pedagogical perspective?
