In this short text [in Spanish] Edgar Zavala addresses some of the perspectival weaknesses in the study of religions in Latin America and touches upon alternative theoretical-methodological criteria to counter these weaknesses. The text can be accessed in the website of the ‘Grupo de Estudios Multidisciplinarios sobre Religión e Incidencia Pública (GEMRIP), and is part of the Institute of Latin American Studies’ efforts to promote extra-academic debates.
