The NOLAN2018: "Epochal shifts in current Latin America?’" was held at the Oslo Metropolitan University (OMU), the 25 and 26 October. The conference was organised by the OMU and the Norwegian Latin America research network, NOLARNET.

Andrés Rivarola participated in the workshop, "The social and political impacts of the Catholic Church in Latin America before and now", with the paper:  “The Geopolitics of the Catholic Church in Latin America”

Thaís Machado Borges participated in the workshop, “Ethnography and Conflict in Latin America”, with the paper: “Studying frictions and conflicts in contemporary urban Brazil: Some theoretical and ethical considerations.
