Violence and threats are more common in smaller border towns and rarely make headlines in Mexican press. According to Grecko, these crimes are not thoroughly investigated, and perpetrators never submitted to trial. During the Q&A after the movie, Grecko stressed the importance of making such stories visible internationally.

The event was organized by the Institute of Latin American Studies in cooperation with Panorámica, Latin American Film Festival in StockholmLatinamerika i fokus, Latin American film festival in Malmö and the Embassy of Mexico in Stockholm
