The Nordic Institute of Latin American Studies Film Festival is the 1st Latin American Film Festival for students organized at Stockholm University. The festival is organized in collaboration between the Spanish and Latin American Studies section of the Department of Romance Studies and Classics (Romklass) and the Romance Studies and Classics Student Council at Stockholm University.
Join us for a full week featuring Latin American cinema at Stockholm University! From September 13-17, 18:00-20:00, the Nordic Institute of Latin American Studies (NILAS) Library will showcase original productions from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Spain, and Venezuela. All the films are in either Spanish or Portuguese with English subtitles. After the film screenings, join us alongside special guests to discuss the films and from historical, political, economic, cultural, and environmental perspectives.

The number of seats depends on the sanitary restrictions and recommendations set by the local Swedish authorities on the date of the screening.
