"The Green Card"
As a registered student at the Department of Culture and aesthetics you can each semester pick up a Green Card that gives you free tickets, free admission and discounted offers to many of Stockholm's cultural institutions. Click on this link for more information about the Green Card
Student Offers
Several theatres and consert halls in Sweden offer youth and student discounts, so make sure that you always check the prices before purchasing a ticket to an event. Here are a few examples from our larger venues:
- The Royal Opera offers our students free third row tickets.
- Stockholms Stadsteater gives a youth discount to people under 26 as well as a student discount.
- The Royal Theater gives a youth discount to people under 26.
- Moderna Dansteatern has a student price of 100 SEK for their performances.
- Dansens hus gives a 50% discount to people under 26.
- Stockholm Concert Hall gives a 50% discount to people under 26 and a 10% student discount.
- Folkoperan offers a 50% discount to people under 26 as well as to students.
Our department is also, from time to time, offered a number of free tickets to dress rehearsals at different venues, and these are distributed amongst our students.
