Study Literature

Most of the courses in Literature are held in Swedish. We currently offer one first cycle (basic) course in the history of Swedish literature, as well as a Master's Programme in Literature, of 120 ECTS.

The Master’s Programme in Literature is offered in collaboration between several departments at Stockholm University.

Master’s Programme in Literature, 120 credits

Swedish Literature, 7.5 credits

The course is a free-standing introduction to Swedish literature from the 18th century to the present. Swedish literature is treated and analysed in relation to thematic and contextual aspects, and throughout related to current theoretical perspectives. Instruction is given in the form of lectures and seminars. The language of instruction is English.
