Cultural Evolution Seminars
We organise a monthly seminar series on cultural evolution, interpreted broadly as all research on how and why different cultural expressions (language, technology, behaviour, values, institutions etc.) develop and diversify, and on the biological and cultural preconditions that enable cultural evolution. The topic thus has many connections to the humanities, social sciences and biology.
Since the topics are highly interdisciplinary, the physical location of the seminar series alternates between different departments. The reason for this is to give more people the opportunity to take part and to create new contacts between different departments.
