Introduction to teaching - for new university teachers
Our introduction courses provide a short introduction to teaching for doctoral students looking for confidence and practical tools when starting to teach. If you are planning for a career in academia, we recommend that you instead consider our basic course in higher education teaching and learning, UL1 (equivalent to 7.5 ETCS).
You choose focus on your introduction course based on your subject area or your faculty. The courses are taught in English or bilingually and correspond to two weeks full-time study, i.e. 3 ETCS.
A practice-oriented education aimed at postgraduate students within the Biology section with little or no experience of teaching. An opportunity to develop basic skills and confidence in higher education teaching within biology.
